Does this place take Visa??
Hard to find without a guide but great food. Can get $$$$. Food on a stick.
Amazing selection, English speaking staff. However it will always be full of sailors and dependas. Make sure to call ahead for reservations. Not a kid friendly place.
MorePricey but good
Love the food and experience!! So good
This place is awesome! My favorite spot and a must-go in Sasebo. Great food and drinks in a small cozy setting. Reservation is highly recommended. Place gets packed on the weekend but even weeks days can be full.
MorePlace is delicious. It has an extensive English menu. It can be a little cramped sometimes but it's worth it. Can be somewhat expensive, but again it's a good treat once a month. Food is delicious and the drinks are even better. All about that Mango Chuhai.
MoreSuper cool yakitori (big on food on skewers) place! Shrimp and scallops were cooked in this exciting mustard based sauce and were rather delicious. My husband had beef, pork cutlets and shrimp skewers and absolutely loved it. We both had traditional Japanese soup - ramen and it was very tasty! The place is small but very cozy, ask to be seated in the tatami room if available- truly a neat experience!
MoreMy son and daughter in law took me here while I visited them in Japan. The place was warm, friendly and amazing!!! The food was the best I have ever had!!! I wish they were here in the States!!!
MoreTasty yakitori and chu hais. Good place to have a few drinks and meat sticks. Some items were a bit fatty.
MoreThe food and service here is awesome. They have English menus, and speak English as well.
MoreOne of the best places to eat in sasebo, English friendly and delicious
Famous place to go for anyone looking for good food and a great time
Great place to go hang out with friends for yakitori and chu-his! The attendant are friendly. Beware it's a small place. Highly recommend calling and making reservations.
MoreAbsolutely one of the most popular yakotori restaurants in Sasebo. Lots of variety and everything is delicious. I especially love the Wagyu steak. Get there right at 1700 or make a reservation to guarantee yourself a seat. This restaurant is very popular among Americans. Most of the staff speaks English.
MoreGreat food, but too busy! Go early and hope no one else had the same idea. But, even when busy the food comes out pretty quick. If you get stuck at the bar you'll find yourself squatting onto of a log which gets uncomfortable after about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten there early enough to not be relegated to a log seat. I look forward to sitting at an actual table here someday to enjoy the huge beers and great yakitori!
MoreWent there yesterday. Enjoyed the fried rice‼️ 5 star because I was short of 60 yan . Bt they were okay with it
MoreBest food in town sasebo go try it yourself nice meals fresh and miss fried rice ang yams
MoreIf you need chicken sweats in Sasebo... This is it. Prices are reasonable and food is great. Make reservations early it does fill up and they run outta foods sometimes.
MoreLove this place. The food and Chuhais are amazing! Family ran business.
Great food and awesome Chu Hi drinks.
Cost effective, delicious and fun. Good Lawd! The food is so good I thought I was stealing. Shrimp scallop was maybe my favorite of all. This place only accepts cash and I recommend it to everyone coming by! Not sure if this is a great setup for kids but for friends and even a date, this is the place to go!
MoreAmazing food. Best yakitori place in japan. Good service this time. When busy - service tends to drop. Get here early.
MoreThe best izakaya in sasebo! They have the best chu hi I ever had in Japan. The grilled meat is so good, too. Bad part is there's most likely a wait and can get pricy.
MoreLove the food. Me and my wife's fave place in sasebo!!
A staple for the Sasebo area. The only thing I don’t like is that people can smoke inside the restaurant but I don’t see that happening often, it’s just always an option. If you are going in a group with more than 3 people it’s recommended you call to reserve a table which is pretty easy to do. Cash only and they have big mugs of beer for a fair price haha
MoreGood food and service
Food is good, but it gets smoky inside sometimes.
Highly recommended
Great food and prices. A definite place to eat
Affordable and delicious food. The chu hi here is so strong
A most visit when in town. Japanese steak and bacon wrapped asparagus are awesome.
MoreA bbq place, very cozy, and english speaking staff. I ordered ramen which they only have Japanese ramen and pig fried feet that’s good with alcohol.
MoreY'all, the bacon wrapped cheese... Damn. Just order it. You're welcome.
Best rice ever!
Cheap food and beverages. Friendly service. Does not disappoint! Fun place to start the night.
MoreIt's really yummy!!! It's also very busy so it's best to make a reservation
great food very friendly staff
Great food, small portions and entirely too many Americans. It was great back 2007 but now that it’s not as big of a secret it’s just not the same. But luckily the food still tastes great, the service is on point and the ChuHais are huge..
MoreFood great. Atmosphere nice. Price reasonable. Small and popular, so make reservations.
MoreGreat food. The cucumber kimchi is the best I have had.
This is a great place to get a taste of the local flavor and cuisine of Sasebo. It is well known among the base crowd, so expect to see a large international crowd. If you are coming with a large crowd, phone ahead and get a reservation, this place gets busy quick.
MoreDe lish ious
English menu with great selection and food the restraunt was very accommodating
Four stars because of the smokers that are allowed to smoke inside. Food and service is 5 stars.
MoreOrder: Apple Chu Hi & Cheese bacon 😋👌👍Your Welcome 😊Great place to try while in Sasebo!!
MoreThis place is awesome. A must for anyone coming to Sasebo.
The chi-his are amazing! The potato salad is my favorite. A must try when in Sasebo!
MoreYou need to make a reservation but it's worth the planning.
The food is great here, but it is always busy because of this... You may need to make reservations if you have a group of people. If you get here when it opens, you may get lucky and get a seat right away. This is the best place I could find for Yakitori in Sasebo.
MoreAlways delicious but always full of Americans
